FLIB (Fundamental Lessons In Biology)
Overview:
FLIB (Fundamental Lessons In Biology) is an innovative project designed to provide comprehensive biology lessons through online video content. The project leverages the expertise of students who have attended at least Camp 2 POSN students or above to deliver high-quality, engaging educational material.
Objectives:
- Promote collaborative learning: Encourage sharing of knowledge and resources.
- Enhance educational equity: Provide accessible biology education to all interested students.
- Prepare students for advanced studies: Offer in-depth lessons tailored for high school students preparing for competitive exams, POSN, or the Thai university entrance exam.
Project Structure (for Instructors):
- Website Platform: A centralized website will host links to YouTube videos, categorized by different biology topics.
- Flexible Teaching Format:
- Teach only the topics you are passionate about.
- Upload videos to YouTube (unlisted) to maintain focus within the community.
- Focus on high school level content, aimed at preparing for advanced biology camps or entrance exams.
- Depth of content can vary; feel free to delve deeper into topics of interest.
- Teach as many videos as you wish, covering the required topics.
- Videos can be 1.5 to 3 hours long, ensuring each topic is thoroughly covered.
Teaching Guidelines:
- Content Preparation: Prepare your lessons thoroughly before recording.
- Teaching Methods: Choose your preferred method, whether itβs speaking to the camera, using slides, or writing on an iPad.
- Interactive Options: If you prefer teaching with a live audience, arrangements will be made to have students attend your sessions.
